Groupe Intellex is an international collaborative business development network designed by David Brunnen.

Groupe Intellex logoIn 1992 he championed the creation of new businesses and the need to increase awareness of the value of Collaborative Advantage - this was at a time when competitiveness was widely perceived as requiring a high level of independent self-sufficiency.

The first project was the creation and management of Business Team - branded for BT plc and the first time that the Telco had allowed indirect channel partners to augment its conventional direct sales channels.   The success of Business Team led to the introduction of the BT Indirect Channel in 1996 and Business Team became one the first Major Partners.   Business Team - a cooperative of more than 40 specialist solutions providers - was sold to another BT Major Partner in 2002.

From 1997 onwards the company's consultancy and business support services increasingly focused on the needs of new enterprises and innovative technologies.  Typically these require the development of commercial 'ecosystems' and the underlying principles of Collaborative Advantage can be incorporated into the enterprise systems and processes at a very early stage.   Projects now include new venture work in Energy, Media, Higher Education, Climate Change and Advanced (fixed and mobile) Networked Services markets.

In 2004 Groupe Intellex was awarded the CMA's Innovation Award for the pioneering network services design at the Nothern Ireland Science Park in Belfast. In 2008 the company expanded the Groupe Intellex Associate Network and further extended its range of business support and editorial services. Groupe Intellex now operates from both Northern Ireland and Hampshire with support from a network of Associates around the world and has evolved into a respected on-line publications and business development agency.
