Eoin has been based in Belfast for the last 7 years having previously worked in England, Germany and Irish Republic within the telecommunications industry.

Prior to his Business Development work in Northern Ireland he had the unenviable task of closing down a manufacturing plant in Shannon Ireland following the collapse of the international network switching market in 2001.

He subsequently set up his own broadband satellite company SatDrive in England and then relocated to Belfast to manage a short-term contract to showcase a mobile wireless broadband technology as Business Development director for Groupe Intellex.  He has not looked back.

His business development portfolio under the Groupe Intellex banner has included:

  • Management of the iBurst secure wireless mobile data trials for the public sector in Belfast and securing spectrum licences both in Irish Republic and Northern Ireland
  • Co founder of Sonic Academywww.sonicacademy.com – a web venture producing tutorials for creating, recording and performing music
  • Founding director of the European Connected Health Campus – www.echcampus.com
  • Definition of the International Creative Media Campus at Titanic Quarter
  • Promoter of the Northern Ireland Science Park www.nisp.co.uk

These and other NI projects are now managed by Eoin as director Groupe Intellex NI (GINI Ltd)

In addition Eoin is also a partner in the Boston MA based Collaborative Innovation Group www.ci-grp.com  providing business development services to US/UK/NI companies, a promoter and mentor for artist Graham Catney, and early-stage mentoring for several new ventures.

His contribution to economic regeneration and new venture creation in Northern Ireland is widely recognised.
