April – June 2012. Index, References and Citations.

Groupe Intellex - writing business futuresOur editorial streams in this quarter were dominated by coverage of the UN Sustainability Summit, (Rio+20) with considerable input from ‘Groupe Intellex Associate’ Marit Hendriks who was in Rio de Janeiro filming for NextGen TV.

Surprise hits, however, were the editorials on the 'digital' economy, New Economic Models and, from the archive, a heart-felt sermon on the iniquities of call centres, ' Please hold during the silence'.

Running through our output, at times more explicitly than others, we maintained the theme of the ‘digital deficit’ – the basic need for vastly better connectivity – and the call for massive investment in this infrastructure as a pre-requisite for economic health and the resolution of many other deficits.

In the next quarter we plan to expand on this theme - shifting the focus beyond 'headline speeds' and towards the key features of digital connectivity and how local network utilities are managed to maximise economic and community benefits.

This chronological list of 27 articles (including 8 CMA Leaders and 3 in the Management Editorial stream) is followed by an alphabetic index with references, citations and acknowledgements. During this past quarter there were also 24 items published on our blog – mostly brief out-takes from material archived on the main Groupe Intellex site.
