Speaking at the official opening of the Northern Ireland Science Park, Gordon Brown (just prior to becoming Britain's Prime Minister) said, "Today I have seen a Northern Ireland determined to continue the economic advances of recent years with the creation of this world class Science Park."  Groupe Intellex won the CMA's Innovation Award for this project.
