THE NEXT GENERATION DIGITAL CHALLENGE AWARDS 2013
UPDATE 4th April 2013 - Go ON UK announced as category sponsor
Celebrating the enablers of your own digital economy
In every aspect of how we work and live the digital economy is becoming better understood.
Everyday life is being informed and changed by digital capabilities that each of us find useful.
These digital discoveries do not appear by magic. They are enabled.
We learn from people, places, platforms, projects, and systems. Some may expand our horizons and others may simply remove the burdens of everyday hassle but all are part of being connected and using that connectivity.
For this year’s edition of the Challenge we’ve declared the awards programme an Open Challenge.
The starting point for this year’s ‘Digital Challenge’ is to map the people, projects and innovations that are making a difference – the digital innovations you find to be of most value to yourself, your family, your business or your community
We are open to your input – and we will analyse the categories and contenders to inform this year’s awards. Share with us your best discovery. It may be a person, a service, an application, a project, a provider, a better broadband connection or even a piece of kit.
All we need to know is just enough detail (contacts/names/website) to invite your suggested contender to take part in the next round of this year’s Next Generation Digital Challenge awards.
The UK Open Nomination phase closes on 30th April 2013.
International Nominations will remain open until 28th June*
From your inputs the 2013 short-listed nominations and categories will be declared on 2nd July. The contenders will then be invited to submit details for selection as Finalists.
Full case studies for Finalists in each category will go forward to an independent judging panel in September.
The 2013 Next Generation Digital Challenge Award winners will be announced and trophies presented at the NextGen13 conference dinner on 14th October.
* International nominations are limited to a single ‘Connected City’ category.
